"Chuan Cheng (傳承) in Chinese means inheritance, passing on, and receiving an inheritance. Chuan Cheng Academy aims to be one of the options for adequately transmitting internal martial arts to students who are passionate and dedicated without reservation, as well as disseminating knowledge to the general public to promote the art appropriately. Taijiquan, Nei Gong, Qi Gong, I Ching, and Chinese Medicine

The Chuan Cheng Taijiquan and Internal Arts Academy (Chuan Cheng Academy) was established by Liang Dehua to promote and disseminate Chinese Internal Arts and philosophy and their values. These include but are not limited to internal martial arts and its Nei Gong, Qi Gong, Yi Jing, traditional Chinese medicine (by my students), and Chinese culture through affiliated schools, workshops, and online training.

Taijiquan

Taijiquan is one of the three internal martial arts originating from China. Our goal is to preserve, promote, and spread the art passed down from one of China’s most authentic lineages and complete systems of Yang-style Taijiquan.

null

Chinese Kung Fu

As well as Traditional Yang-style Taijiquan, the Chuan Cheng Academy also teaches several other styles of Chinese Kung-fu aimed to help with coordination, build strength and increase physical fitness. These styles are the most beneficial for kids of all ages and even adults who are complete beginners.

null

Qi Gong/Nei Gong

The Chuan Cheng Academy teaches a comprehensive series of authentic Qi Gong and Nei Gong exercises for both health and martial purposes. These practices are used to build a healthy mind and body and enhance the development of internal power.

null

Traditional Chinese medicine

The Chuan Cheng Academy has collaborated with a certified Chinese Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine to promote TCM and alternative techniques (acupuncture, herbal medicine, Chinese massage) to maintain a sound body and good health.

The true inheritance of the lineage

Our Yang style Taijiquan teaching syllabus derives from the official lineage of Grandmaster Gu Lisheng, which was passed down from Gu Lisheng’s last indoor student, Master Chi Qingsheng. Grandmaster Gu Lisheng (Gu Luping) was a student of both Yang Shaohou and Yang Chengfu, Liang Dehua is a certified 6th generation indoor student of this lineage.

The authentic knowledge of the art

Liang Dehua’s expertise and countless years of experience training in martial arts are the foundation for the comprehensive system taught in Chuan Cheng Academy of Taijiquan and internal arts. Sifu Liang is a native Chinese speaker, meaning that he can transmit the authentic knowledge of the arts to students without losing any essential teachings typically lost in translation. Liang Dehua’s knowledge originates from learning directly from masters living in China. There are no random mixing bits and pieces of information from different lineages that barely scratch the surface. Liang Dehua’s knowledge can penetrate through the entire system of Yang-style Taijiquan and the internal arts.

Testimonials

I have been practicing martial arts for over 30 years, mostly external styles (traditional karate mainly but also several years of practice in various styles of “external kung fu” and Brazilian ju jitsu); at the end of the 90s I also started to approach the Chinese Internal Styles (Taijiquan and Yiquan) that have always fascinated me … I am a very “practical” person given the background where I come from and unfortunately in this area the teachers I met never really convinced me… for the most part people with few theoretical notions and no “internal skills”, those very few who…

“Sifu Liang immediately proved to be a martial artist with enormous skills”

I first met Liang De Hua in 2017, while he was teaching Taiji Quan to a group of students in Bangkok. Since that initial meeting, I have spent countless hours in his company. Having observed Sifu Liang De Hua instruct students on a one-to-one basis and conduct workshops attended by 40+ people, I have no hesitancy in testifying that Liang De Hua is a world-class instructor. He embodies authentic Taiji Quan skills and possesses a unique ability to transmit his high-level teachings to others. His continued efforts and willingness to share the Traditional Yang-style Taiji Quan methods are a rarity.

Sifu Liang De Hua is the real deal
